The rhyming conventions of the new verse ended up codified inside of a rime dictionary called the Zhongyuan Yinyun (1324). A radical departure from the rime table tradition that had evolved more than the previous generations, this dictionary contains a wealth of data over the phonology of Outdated Mandarin.
